VETERANS ADMINISTRATION INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM

This program assists veterans with service-connected disabilities of 10% or over. 

An Independent Living Specialist makes regular visits to help veterans develop the skills necessary to continue living independently in the community.  Services include:

• Connecting with community-based support services
• Identifying assistive technology to enhance independence
• Independent living skills training
• Assisting the veteran in setting and achieving specific goals and objectives
