Hosted by Disability Network Lakeshore’s Associate Board, participants are encouraged to walk, run, or roll at their own pace!

Chloe Bares, the Chairperson of DNL’s Associate Board said,
“I believe the 5k will foster community and connection. It will create a space where people feel unified in a cause, expand their social circles, and meet individuals they may not have known before. There is a community on the Lakeshore advocating for those with disabilities. Ultimately, our goal is to increase the awareness of disability and accessibility in our communities.”

** In order to raise awareness and demonstrate the need for accessible communities, including right here in Holland, the 5K route was chosen for its visibility. Please note, however, that the route is not fully ADA accessible. There will be volunteers stationed at these points to assist participants. **
